SLO Op (soon to be “The Pad Climbing”) is hiring!

After over 15 years at the country’s first non-profit, we’re going for-profit and we’re raising the roof! At the end of October, The Pad Climbing will feature two fitness studios, two weight areas, a slack line, showers, training area, youth area, roped climbing, and, of course, bouldering!

Our motto is: Climbing. Yoga. Community. Love.

Be a part of an amazing community!

Be a part of an amazing community!

We’re looking to take what we’ve started to the next level, and we need amazing people on our team to help us. Our staff is the special sauce that makes us one of the most supportive environments you’ll find in a climbing community and we want to keep that going.

As a team member, you’ll enjoy a team atmosphere where everyone works together to meet goals and create new ones, meet awesome people, be encouraged to innovate and reach out in new and interesting ways, and develop yourself within the gym and for future careers. We believe in investing in our staff as much as you will invest with us. We look for hard workers who won’t let others’ down. The system only works if our members and fellow staff feel supported and elevated by each other. We are looking for true ambassadors of not only the sport of climbing but of San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, and the gym itself.
