About SLO-OP
Who We Are
SLO-Op is the world's first non-profit bouldering gym. We offer 24-7 access to our members and operate open hours from 5-10 pm each weeknight for guests. Visitors are expected to pay $7 per visit (there is no "first time free" policy any longer).
SLO Op runs on the heart of its volunteer leadership: regular members self-regulating according to the rules; "crew" members volunteering time to clean up, manage new members and issues; and volunteer route setters putting up problems.
Technically, SLO Op is a 501(c)7 social club managed by the SLO Op LLC, currently consisting of Kristin McNamara and Yishai Horowitz:
